Director of Crossing Women

Jeannette and her husband, Dave, worked full-time in a campus ministry for seventeen years before starting The Crossing in 2000. They have two adult children and four grandchildren. Jeannette has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and loves to be involved in all sorts of creative projects.

Jeannette is the Director of Women’s Ministry at The Crossing. She enjoys helping women discover truths about God through Bible study and mentoring relationships to deepen their love for Him. She especially enjoys encouraging and equipping women to be godly leaders to others.

Jeanne grew up in Liberty, MO. She moved to Columbia to study Social Work at the University of Missouri, where she got involved with the campus ministry, CRU, and met her husband Ryan. They, along with their three children, have attended The Crossing since 2000. Jeanne has loved volunteering in Crossing Kids and Women’s Ministry through the years, and has worked part-time with Women’s Ministry since 2012, where she helps with logistics, Bible studies, and events.

Kelsey Tucker

Crossing Women Staff

Kelsey was born and raised in Springfield, MO. In 2011, she moved to Columbia to attend the University of Missouri, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. While in college, she started attending The Crossing and Veritas. In her role with Crossing Women, she helps with administrative tasks, logistics and events.

Kelsey is married to her high school sweetheart, Johnny, and together they have three daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family and listening to audiobooks.

Michelle Townsend

Crossing Women Operations Admin

Michelle was born and raised in Central Illinois. She attended Illinois State University and University of Iowa to become a registered dietitian. When she met her now husband of 21 years, David, she relocated to Columbia, Missouri in 2003. David and Michelle have two almost grown children, Jimmy and Grace. They have been attending the Crossing since 2017. She loves serving in Crossing Kids with her daughter and serving alongside David in the 1:1 Ministry.

In her role with Crossing Women, Michelle helps with administrative duties, event set up, and provides support and care for volunteers.
