Connection groups are a special type of group for college freshmen to get connected to one another and find their place in Veritas! If you’re an upperclassman, consider joining a Veritas Study or a Small Group!

We love your enthusiasm! However, we encourage you to choose one group that best fits your preferences, and commit to being all-in there! There will be lots of opportunities to get involved in other ways in Veritas during your four years! Connection Groups only last one semester, so if you start there, you may choose to join a Small Group your second semester!

We hope that after a semester together Veritas is starting to feel like home and you are excited to join a Veritas study or small group!

That’s okay! Connection Groups will be a great place for you to meet new friends. Plus, you and your friend can hang together on Tuesday Nights!

Ideally we’d love for you to make it every week, but we know life happens (and this isn’t school - we won’t take attendance!). That being said, we are confident you’ll learn and grow the most if you’re able to be there for each week of the Veritas Study.

We want to help you grow in your knowledge of the Bible and learn about Jesus. Sometimes we will study a book of the Bible, or a theme throughout the Bible.

Sad! Thankfully, we mix up the time and day of our Veritas Studies each time we offer a new one. Hopefully, the next one will work with your class schedule!

While Small Groups are a “small” group of people your age and gender who ideally stick together for your whole time in Veritas, Veritas Studies are much more flexible! We offer a couple each semester, and they are designed for any student to come and learn together. 

If you have a group in mind or want to join with a friend, let us know! If not, we will place you in a group based on your year in college, gender, and other preferences!

Small Group signups will reopen at the beginning of every school semester! Until then, we encourage you to join a Veritas Study, and keep coming on Tuesday Nights! 

In a way, yes! Small Groups are designed for you to learn to live like Jesus alongside other students trying to do the same. The long-term nature of the group helps you build close relationships, share vulnerably, and grow together. While they may seem like a big step, we believe they’re the best way for you to grow spiritually over time. That being said, all three types of groups meet weekly, and will help you meet other students!
